A little door on the internet

This is the first room. There are shelves for longer writing, a notebook for smaller thoughts, an arcade down the hall, and a few corners that can change shape later.

This is a starter entry for the redesigned site. Replace it with your own story when you are ready. Nothing here needs to become a polished announcement.

A place with room to change

The useful thing about a personal website is that it can hold more than one version of a person. It can make space for unfinished ideas, new obsessions, careful essays, ordinary days, and things that are hard to classify.

A page can be both a record and an invitation.

This site is built so a new piece of writing starts as a small Markdown file. Give it a title and a date, then write. The rest of the shelves arrange themselves.
